Spelunking in Peppersauce Canyon

For the past few months Josh and I have been separated and it was heartbreaking spending Valentines Day without him. After coming home from W. Virginia I was really missing him and wanted to see him really bad. I didn't have much hope for a future together, but hoped that we could at least repair some of the hurt that was done and build up our friendship again. I knew doing some kind of activity would be the best for us, so I asked him to go spelunking with me.

This was very exciting because even though I've been through the cave 4-5 times already, Josh has never been. This has always surprised me because he is a rock climber. He's climbed on Mt. Lemon for years, but has never explored the cave found along the backside of the mountain. Since he introduced me to climbing, along with several other adventurous activities, I was thrilled to be able to introduce him to something! He was like a little kid getting to go to the zoo for the very first time. He was super excited and thrilled I came up with the idea. I even think he was quite impressed!

And it was the best idea. We had a wonderful time! The past and future slipped our minds and we went on an adventure in the present. Nothing else matter expect for us, the cave and our head lamps. At one point Josh got me to keep my light off for more than a second. It was pitch black and uber scary! I kept hearing that gurgling sound the cave monsters make in the movie The Descent and started freaking out. He kept me from turning the lights back on until I really started to panic...which only took about 15 seconds. I can't imagine running out of light and getting lost in a cave. That would be my worst nightmare. I am so afraid of the dark it's ridiculous!

NYC!

Spent a week and a half traveling around New York City with London. She found a cheap hotel in Brooklyn that we stayed in all week... super small... like a box with a bed and a small fridge. Bonus! Normally, we crash with people we know around the city and are usually packing up all our stuff and changing locations every few days. Between our clothes, wardrobe, laptop and personal items...we end up lugging around a lot of bags and suitcases. This is not the most fun in the city with lots of walking... crowded streets... many stairs in the subway... trains... buses. It was nice to stay in one place all week, even if it was small.

We both had a busy week of shooting all around the city... went to New Jersey twice and we took a 2 day trip to Philadelphia. Megasbus: NYC to Philly, $7. Awesome.

London worked more than I've ever seen her work. That girl was doing 3 shoots a day, every day. With the amount of time it takes to get around in the big city, she was pulling 12hr days on her feet... just go, go, go! Every night we'd hop in our big fluffy hotel bed, so excited to not have to share a couch or a floor, thinking we would immediately pass out and get some good sleep, only to stay awake for hours talking and giggling like 7 year-olds at a sleep over. It seemed that the more desperately we needed sleep, the more it eluded us. This caused us to be like zombies for most of the week, but we made it to all our shoots and had a blast with each other like we always do.

I got to work with good friends and make some new ones! London and I worked a photography workshop in SoHo that turned out really well. It was small... around 7 photographers... just the two of us modeling. We took turns, gave each other breaks... and posed together. We went out to a nice lunch in Little Italy afterwards, which was fabulous!

Worked with some friends in the giantess fetish industry.... took the bus out to New Jersey and posed as giantesses all day. Think... Attack of the 50ft Woman... it's an interesting fetish to say the least.

London had a shoot with an artistic erotic artist, Aeric Meredith. I got to shoot with him too. The photos are phenomenal. He was one of the most interesting people I've met in a long time. Reminds me of the kind of people I meet at Burningman...

Other shoots included artsy stuff, glamor stuff and more fetish: tickle wrestling,... several poses in various forms of lingerie... posing for a watercolor artist who sketched and painted us... playing sexy, playing funny... London getting splattered with paint under a black light for a 3D movie. Just typical days at the office... ha!

One night we got to go out to dinner with a group of models and photographers that are local to the city. We had good eats, drinks and I ended up posing in the streets with Gary Breckheimer, who is a wonderful artist! It was not how I expected my first shoot with him to happen...but it was so great to finally meet him and work with him. Best part was that he looks and sounds like the Dude from Big Lebowski :D

Another night I got to go out with my good friend Jamie Daniels! She lives in Brooklyn, so she swung by the hotel, picked me up and took me into the city for a night out! It was so good to see her! We drank some wine, caught with each other and had lots of fun girly talk. We ended the night with a visit to a famous gay bar and purchasing fun items at the adult store! It's always fun times with Jamie :)

Best thing about the trip... London and I got to meet a friend she's been chatting with online for some time and developed a good bond with. Evan was a great man to meet and we now refer to him as our big bro in NYC! He'll be joining us at Burningman this year! I'm not sure if he knows exactly how much of an adventure he's going to have...but I know he's super excited and I'm thrilled to have him as a part of our BM crew!
