Birthday on Bourbon Street!

Happy Birthday to me! I'm away from home, family and loved ones this year on my birthday, but I am with one of my favorite people and best bud London. We are in New Orleans and it's my first time here! We went out on the French Quarter last night and partied up on Bourbon street! There was a nice mix of live music and I think I got a well rounded New Orleans experience. As much as I could for one night anyway. We head to Baton Rouge for a shoot this afternoon and then its back to Texas. Even though I'm not home on my birthday, which makes me sad ....I miss my kitty :( ...I am still having a good time.

London has convinced me to make a Wishlist for my birthday. So, if anyone wants to get me anything for my b-day, I would be overwhelmed with joy. If I were to have a present waiting for me when I got home, I wouldn't know what to do...that would just be too awesome for words! Even if you cant get me anything from my wishlist, go check it out...get to know me a little more by seeing the things I like ;)

Road Trip Time!

Flying out to Austin in the morning! Gonna spend a few days in Austin with London, then we're road trippin' in her new Mustang through Louisiana! We plan to spend time shooting in Dallas for a few days first. Then we'll be off to New Orleans, Baton Rouge and then Houston before heading back to Austin. I'm so excited!!! This will be my first trip to Louisiana and I am stoked about seeing NOLA! I'm pretty sure we will be there on the 25th for my birthday, so I hope to party it up on Bourbon Street! I'm also really looking forward to hanging out with London and having some chill time with her around Austin and in her new apartment. It's the first place she has really had. She's painted a mural on the wall, has plants and collected a bunch of recycled furniture. She's also got her first dog recently, who I haven't met yet, so I'm thrilled to meet her! This should be a fun trip :)

Tucson Buds!

Went out on 4th Ave, our main "party street" in Tucson. I hardly ever go out when I am home, so this was kind of a big deal. I also hardly get to see my good Burningman friends Selina and Eric, so it was great to go out with them, have some hemp beer to celebrate upcoming 4-20 and catch up with whats been going on in our lives. Eric has become a bootlegger, making and selling his own wine...which is pretty tasty! And Selina has started selling her hand made glass jewelry. They are both extremely creative and productive people, so they are very inspiring to be around. They are also very much in love and are super sweet to each other, it is so nice to be around their kind of love... Such great people, I am glad to be friends with them!

We hung out a little mexican food place with excellent cheap tacos and live music. Heard an amazing blue grass band...actually I think they were a collection of people from other bands just getting together and making some music. It was beautiful. Next was "Fatheads", an awesome bar attached to a glass blowing shop, which has neat art everywhere made by local artists and fun graffiti on the patio walls. The bar top is fun and unique too! It is a long, giant plexiglass case that holds a bunch of local artwork for sale. Selina has a section of the bar for her selling her own glass pieces (necklaces, bracelets, keychains, and her unique dreadlock accesories). She is really excited about it, as she should be. I am really proud of her for putting her beautiful creations out there for Tucson to enjoy!

Eric and Selina will be leaving Tucson at the beginning of May to spend the summer in Oregon. They are going to work on a farm or something...escape the extreme heat of summer in Tucson, work with nature and be surrounded by good people. How nice! Big green trees and lots of grass and plants, Oh...I'm jealous! I have yet to travel to that area, so hopefully I can make plans to visit them this summer...maybe fly out there and drive with them to Burningman... hmmmm sounds like a great idea!

Twin's Birthday!

I'm usually only home 1-2 weeks each month, so I don't get to go out and see my Tucson friends very often. But I'll be getting people together this weekend to celebrate the birthday of two long time friends of mine! Excited =D

Wrestling in Phoenix

Santiago with Sleeperkids World came from Atlanta, GA to wrestle some of us West Coast Girls in California and Arizona! He made a 5 part documentary of his travels. The first 2 parts are mainly of his visit to Los Angeles, below you can watch parts 3-5 which were shot in Phoenix with me!
